On Saturday, November 21, 2009, i wrote an article in my blog analyzing Sachin`s Horoscope. It was predicted that since the movement of Rahu & Ketu on November 2nd, 2009, the horoscope of Sachin shows super time ahead and that “next 18 months Sachin will DEFINITELY have a blaster of time, one of those years which he will remember for life.” During those 18 months, he achieved the following which turned out to be the Careers best time for him and during this time he also fulfilled his dream of lifting the World Cup for India in 2011.

• On February 24, 2010 Sachin scored the first ever double century in ODI by any ODI player.
• Won his dream One day international World Cup for India in April 2011 and best performing in the World Cup.
• In 2010, he scored the highest test runs 1562 in his entire career in 1 year.
• In 2010, he was voted as one of the world’s 100 most influential people in “The 2010 TIME 100” poll conducted by Time magazine.
• Sachin won the Man of the Series in Australia – India Series.
• In 2010 won the ICC Cricketer of the year – Highest award in the ICC listings
• He also won the 2010 Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for cricketer of the year at the ICC awards
• 2010: LG People’s Choice Award
• Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World 1998, 2010

Sachin Tendulkar – Subdued Performance & Retirement

On Sunday, May 15, 2011, after the above achievements till April 2011, I again wrote that “the time ahead does not look so bright to me & Sachin will most likely due to a bit of subdued performance will announce his retirement from one day cricket post March 2012 & subsequently in another 2 years time he would also retire from Test cricket as well”.

After achieving 99th Century in March 2011 , he had to wait for 1 year to reach his 100th century which was finally achieved on March 16,2012 and where India lost as well. There were also criticism on Sachin having played slow to achieve his 100th Century else India may have won. Further, within 2 years in Dec 2013, Sachin announced his retirement Test Cricket.
